BiographyBorn in Scottsdale, Arizona, on the cusp of cultural change, Jackson Steele saw the patchwork of family ranches and farms, pastures of horses, cattle and sheep, morph into shopping malls, golf courses and day spas. Raised in the desert Southwest and the broad coastline of California, Jackson eventually escaped the ever-increasing crowds, driving north on US Route 89, settling in Wyoming and then Montana, earning his wages on ranches, Mom & Pop restaurants and construction sites. He currently writes fulltime for his wages, while sharing life with his lovely frugal bride and their dogs in the Big Sky State of Montana.
